Welcome to gordonandclare.com. We are a young, lively couple working on sailing yachts and this website will enable you to follow our journey and keep track of our whereabouts. It will contain information about our present yacht, photos of all the action, where we are currently based and where we’ve been, as well as a blog.

We’ve been working in the sailing industry for just over five years starting off as dinghy sailing instructors in Menorca before taking the step up to yachts. This has enabled us to bring together our love of sailing, exploring, outdoor living and the ability to try local cuisine and wines wherever we end up (depending on how brave we’re feeling…!). Gordon has taken up the role of captain/engineer whilst Clare has become chef/mate/deckhand/stewardess extraordinaire!

We are currently running a 72 foot sailing yacht called Concerto and we’ve been on board since July 08 and are absolutely loving it. When we’re not to be found on a yacht, we’re usually scouring the countryside on mountain bikes or skis depending on the season.

In 2009 we are looking forward to cruising along the south coast of France and north of Italy before heading down to Sicily and the Aeolian Islands.
